W4AC (in)famous OCTOBER HALF TERM Halloween Art sessions for under 11's . NB Younger children must be accompanied by an adult.
Do NOT dress to impress. Old clothes essential and wellingtons strongly advised. We have some coveralls but bring an old adult T shirt to keep off the worst. Paints are nominally washable but absolutely no liability is accepted for for ruined clothing/designer trainers. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!
WEDNESDAY + FRIDAYS RESERVED FOR OPEN SESSIONS BUT PRIVATE GROUPS ARE POSSIBLE AT ALL OTHER TIMES.

Make or just paint giant cardboard pumpkins, bats and bugs or/or do your own thing on a big 'canvas'. Come have fun splattering, spraying, splashing , sloshing, painting with big brushes, rollers and fly swappers, and printing and collaging with a range of materials.
Join @ 10.45 and stay for one or two hours for any age to 6/7 years
For more energetic 'painting' + Cut, fold, paste, thread, paint and animate and vociferate scary spiders, wiggly worms, sabre toothed bats and a multitude of moving, grooving, crawling brawling mutinous mutations. Make as many as you dare to scare the parents!!
From 11.45 is Poisonous Edible Art time! for 2+++ to 6/7 years.
Model ghastly gory goodies with coloured sugar paste. Make skulls, shrunken heads + severed body parts; ghosts and ghouls; spiders, pumpkins, bugs, bats, rats, cats + witches hats. Then slap on the blood, gore and gangrene and take them home in a coffin. YUK, YUK, YUK, YUK!!!

Children can bring a packed lunch or book a special Halloween lunch (£7.00) - worms [home made organic spaghetti bolognaise] and body parts [jelly] with brain [ice cream] sauce + a suspiciously red coloured drink.

Spare Body Parts
We will be raiding recycling bins and using fibres, modroc, plaster, recyclables + gallons of pigment to exorcise the most fervent imaginations! Make replacement body parts and/or plaster caste your own face or hand. Construct nightmare extras for costumes: extended fingers and detachable limbs or simply a spare leg to keep your pencils in.
Monster Makeup
Go gangrenous or ghostly. Try out face paints or try out gaping gashes, bilious boils, bruises with lashings of pus and blood… Take home the secret recipes , ready to fire up cauldrons at home…. Guaranteed to totally terrify mothers and freak out fathers.
