School and Half Term Holidays       XMAS MAKING W/C 14TH DECEMBER * Festive Cards and Gifts * Lots of opportunities to make simple and original gifts, jewellery, cards, wrapping sundries, crackers and decorations for friends and family and to repeat at home   ARTABUGS Older friends and siblings can attend if there are places at 9.15/10.15 +11.30 on Friday 18 th or 10.15 on Thursday 17th Dec.* OLDER KIDS Extra workshops where there will be opportunities to work with plaster; make crackers; simple jeweery and caskets; pop up boxes and edible art. From 2.00pm on Thurs + Fridays 17/18 th Dec + additional times and days to be arranged if there is a demand. Weekend Family Workshop on Sunday 29 Nov + 13 December welcome. Please contact us if you are interested   NB Afternoon workshops will be subject to demand but sessions can be arranged at any time to suit private groups of 7 + children. COST. After school / Other workshops Recommended for 8+ but separate sessions for various ages may be possible. Fridays only during the winter but if there is a demand I can offer alternative weekdays to accommodate children who have other commitments especially if this would enable me to widen the age recommendations; divide the children into different age/developmental bands and adapt the activities to their interests and abilities. Sessions will be limited to c. 8 children to ensure individual attention. Each block of 5 sessions will be based on a theme chosen by the participants. The children will be encouraged to do their own research and will be shown examples of other artists work and will be able to work within and across a variety of media to develop their imaginations and ideas and learn new skills including drawing, painting, print, mixed media etc. They will be able to work 3 dimensionally with clay, plaster, card, recyclables etc.
