No - Parents and carers are responsible at all times for their children but they are very much encouraged to join in with the activities and usually really enjoy themselves.
Dress code?
OXFAM NON CHIC for children AND adults - including footwear. The really messy stuff is done outside/in a marquee so , on colder days, dress warmly. Newbie artabugs can borrow waterproof coveralls at the first session which can also be bought for £20. There are one-size-fits-all aprons for adults. THE PAINTS ARE MADE WASHABLE BUT NO LIABILITY ACCEPTED FOR DAMAGED CLOTHING etc .
BUT WE MIGHT BE ON MOTHERS DAY!!
Actually the weather is often crisper , nicer, sunnier and drier in the winter months. Most people enjoy the fresh air and just wrap up a bit and the kids are all in waterproof suits. If it's a bit miserable AT ANY TIME OF THE YEAR - we do as much play dough as possible inside , paint under cover of the marquee or if it's completely horrid - just turn up the heating, boil up the kettle and stay inside for special bad weather fun like pasta beading, sensory boxes and edible art. Also - correct me if I am wrong but it nearly NEVER rains on Friday mornings. I suspect Chiswick enjoys an micro climate and a lot of shelter from surrounding hills.
Yes we can do a private workshop or proper Parties and occasional weekend family events too.
Session are NOT drop in . You must check availability and book but you can always call 0778 959 9931 on the morning to see to see if there is a place/cancellation for a trial or occasional place.
